You are looking for a training position? - WE TRAIN !
Every year we recruit trainees who want to learn the profession of stonemason or the profession of natural stone mechanic at Sächsische SANDSTEINWERKE GmbH.
Training has always been seen as an obligatory task in the Sächsische SANDSTEINWERKE, so that whole generations of stonemasons and natural stone mechanics still remember their good vocational training with pleasure.
You are interested, then talk to us and contact Mrs. L. Biber, Mr. Jahr or Mr. Roßrucker. We are also happy about a personal visit - this will be more successful by prior arrangement.
The handicraft, stonemasonry processing of sandstone is traditionally associated with our region for centuries.
In a separate apprenticeship department, apprentices are trained in the specialty of stonemasonry under the constant, expert supervision of a master apprentice. Historic buildings, such as the Dresden Frauenkirche or the Berlin City Palace, also reflect only a portion of the efficiency of our training.
Stonemason is a 3-year recognized apprenticeship in craft and industry.
What requirements do I need:
Stone processing today is mostly done with machines. Machine and tool development has been revolutionary in recent years. Today, for example, computer-controlled machining centers and CNC-controlled 5-axis machines are used to produce sophisticated profiles and shapes by machine with diamond tools.
To help shape this constantly evolving process, we train natural stone mechanics who are able not only to operate these machines, but also to program and control them.
Natural stone mechanic specializing in stonemasonry technology is a 3-year recognized training occupation in the industry.
